Job Title: Senior Electronics Design Engineer

Location: Huddersfield

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 (dependent on experience)

Overview

An exciting opportunity to join a pioneering engineering firm. As a Senior Electronics Design Engineer, you will take ownership of electronic systems design from concept through to production—developing innovative, efficient, and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead electronics development across the full lifecycle: concept, design, testing, and production

*

Design and validate both analogue and digital circuits for high-reliability applications

*

Develop and test PCBs using Altium Designer

*

Integrate embedded processors, sensors, and power electronics into system architectures

*

Ensure designs meet EMC compliance and are optimised for manufacturability, reliability, and environmental efficiency

*

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement and technical leadership within the team

About You

*

Proven track record of delivering end-to-end electronic design projects

*

Strong understanding of both analogue and digital electronics

*

Experience designing for EMC compliance and integrating embedded systems

*

Proficient in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer)

*

Practical, hands-on engineer with a detail-oriented approach to testing and validation

*

Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
