Job Title: Senior Electronics Design Engineer Location: Greater Manchester (Hybrid – 4 days onsite) Salary: Up to £75k (DOE)

We are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to lead a Hardware and Electronics Development team. You will play a key role in the development of next-generation electronic systems, supporting products from concept through to manufacture. This position combines hands-on design work with team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Design electronic hardware including schematic capture and PCB layout Deliver product development projects from concept through to production Lead day-to-day activities of a small engineering team Interpret project requirements and communicate deliverables clearly Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, operations, and manufacturing Identify and evaluate new technologies for future product development Support prototyping, testing, and new product introduction (NPI) Produce and manage design documentation, BOMs, and technical reports Ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g. ISO9001) Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership About You

Degree in Electronics Engineering or related discipline Minimum 5+ years’ experience in electronic hardware design Strong experience with schematic capture and PCB design (Altium preferred) Experience testing electronic components and assemblies Background in Digital, analogue, and microcontroller-based systems Proficient with communication protocols (e.g. LTE, Ethernet, CAN, I2C) Understanding of the full product development lifecycle Experience supporting manufacturing and NPI activities Comfortable working in a hands-on technical role Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Experience leading or mentoring engineers Please note, we cannot offer sponsorship for the role.
