The Role: Sustainable Talent are working exclusively with a Tier One Contractor on the National Grid Framework as they hunt for a Senior Engineering Manager (Substations) working on the Electricity Transmission Partnership with National Grid. The role is focused on delivering substation and transmission works.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day‐to‐day management of internal and external engineering resources, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within budget and in line with project requirements. The role will cover both pre‐contract and delivery stages, working closely with customers, consulting engineers, in‐house teams and operations directors. You will be a key point of contact for engineering issues, supporting tenders, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards, and driving innovation across the business.
