Senior Estimator - ConstructionA leading UK construction and built environment contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator to join its growing commercial team, supporting a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming work across construction, infrastructure, and FM projects.This is a key pre‑construction role with real influence over cost planning, tendering, risk, and value engineering.Senior Estimator – The RoleAs Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate, competitive, and commercially robust estimates from early‑stage cost planning through to tender submission.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing detailed cost estimates including labour, materials, plant, prelims, and overheadsReviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentationIdentifying commercial risks, opportunities, and value engineering optionsObtaining competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliersCollaborating with design, operational, and commercial teamsSupporting tender submissions, negotiations, and project handoversPresenting estimates and pricing strategies to senior stakeholdersSalary & Benefits£65,000 - £80,000 basic salaryCompany vehicle or £5,000 car allowance25 days holiday bank holidays (option to buy more)Life assurance (2x salary)Gym discounts & cycle to work schemeSenior Estimator – About YouProven experience as a Senior Estimator / Estimator within construction, infrastructure, or FMRelevant qualification: HNC / HND / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar (or equivalent experience)Strong Excel and estimating software skillsExcellent understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost driversConfident communicator with stakeholders at all levels #J-18808-Ljbffr
