Senior Estimator £80,000 - £90,000+Benefits Barking Full-Time / Permanent This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Estimator from within the Civils and Utilities sector to join a growing and respected contractor. We would love to hear from you if you are a proactive individual who can work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role is not for the faint-hearted and therefore the ability to meet deadlines is required. YOUR NEW ROLE Complete tender appraisals Prepare price tender submissions Lead and mentor the estimating team Take-offs from drawings Contract requirements and specifications Accountable for all tender deliverables, working within the agreed deadline Adhering to Health and Safety procedures ABOUT YOU Hold a Bachelor’s degree: Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related topic Understanding and working knowledge of construction materials and methods Previous experience within the utility industry (MUST HAVE) Bidding and securing projects (MUST HAVE) Problem solver Experience in leading and mentoring Ability to work effectively on multiple projects Can meet deadlines and work under pressure
