Job Profile for Senior Estimator CF46079 Our client, a leading specialist within the ground engineering sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their piling division. This is a key position responsible for leading the preparation of complex tenders and ensuring commercially successful project delivery from enquiry through to handover. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maximising commercial opportunities, developing client relationships, and supporting the wider work-winning function. This role will involve close collaboration with internal teams, clients, and external consultants, as well as mentoring junior estimating staff. Senior Estimator Job Responsibilities * Preparing detailed estimates and tender submissions in line with enquiry documentation and company procedures * Leading bid strategies in collaboration with the Bid Manager from early engagement stages * Producing major prime cost estimates, including cost planning and preliminary pricing * Carrying out technical appraisals and design calculations to support tender submissions * Proposing value-engineered and sustainable solutions to maximise project opportunities * Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout the tender process * Managing the full lifecycle of tenders, from initial enquiry through to award and handover
