As the engine room that keeps Lawhive moving with precision, we partner deeply with every part of the business—product, engineering, legal operations, HR, talent and the exec team. Our mandate is simple: build world-class, audit‑ready, scalable finance architecture that can support hyper‑growth and international expansion. Base pay range £80K – £100K Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior FP&A Analyst who can build decision‑grade financial insight for a fast‑scaling, multi‑entity group. You will own forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling, providing clear analysis that helps leaders make confident, data‑driven decisions. This role requires a proven track record of building FP&A foundations in a high‑growth environment, creating structure from ambiguity, and leading financial planning across UK and US jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities
Own group‑level forecasting across revenue, headcount, costs, and cash‑flow. Build and maintain financial models to support planning and investment decisions. Analyse performance trends and highlight risks, opportunities, and drivers. Support scenario modelling, long‑range planning, and sensitivity analysis. Work closely with functional leaders to understand performance, risks, and future requirements. Translate financial insights into clear, actionable recommendations. Provide commercial support for new initiatives and operational decisions. Build strong relationships and support decision‑making with high‑quality data. Produce monthly reporting packs with commentary, analysis, and clear narrative. Track revenue, margins, unit economics, and operational KPIs. Improve reporting processes, dashboards, and data visibility across the business. Maintain audit‑ready documentation and ensure accuracy and consistency across outputs. Support the build‑out of scalable FP&A tools, processes, and reporting frameworks. Partner with the Management Accounting team on performance reviews, month‑end insight, and variance analysis. Contribute to financial governance and help maintain planning discipline across teams. Support budgeting cycles and the development of standardised financial processes.
About You
Significant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or strategic analysis. Strong financial modelling capability and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills. Confident analysing complex data sets and translating them into clear recommendations. Experience supporting senior stakeholders and influencing decisions. Strong understanding of revenue models, costs, margins, and operational metrics. Highly analytical, commercially minded, and intellectually curious. Comfortable working in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments with shifting priorities. A self‑starter who enjoys building structure, improving tools, and driving clarity.
