The Opportunity:

Global Procurement is on a journey to elevate its enterprise impact, and this role sits within a fast-growing Strategy & Solutions capability focused on unlocking value through external market innovation and supplier-enabled solutions.

This team operates proactively identifying and shaping opportunities across the enterprise rather than waiting for demand to arrive. As Global Procurement Solutions Lead, you will lead a small, high-calibre team to identify, shape, and deliver market-driven solutions to the most complex business challenges.

Working with an internal consulting mindset, you will help position Global Procurement as a strategic enterprise partner, delivering measurable outcomes beyond traditional cost savings (e.g. productivity gains, speed to market, asset optimisation, capability uplift). With strong visibility across senior leadership, this role offers the chance to shape how procurement supports the organisation’s future growth and innovation agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead team delivering a portfolio of cross-category market solutions.
• Translate complex, ambiguous business challenges into clear, actionable solution pathways.
• Proactively identify business problem statements and convert them into high-value opportunities.
• Design and implement innovative supplier-enabled and market-leveraged solution models.
• Influence and partner with senior stakeholders across a highly matrixed global environment.
• Prioritise demand and allocate resources to maximise enterprise impact.
• Drive external innovation through deep market and supplier insight.
• Embed structured approaches to value realisation beyond traditional cost metrics.
• Continuously evolve scalable frameworks, tools, and solution approaches.

Required Experience:

• Exceptional ability to create clarity from ambiguous, loosely defined business challenges.
• Proven stakeholder influence skills, including engagement at senior levels.
• Experience leading small, expert teams or complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Track record of delivering measurable business value beyond cost savings.
• Strategic, enterprise-wide mindset with strong problem-structuring capability.

Relevant backgrounds could include:

• Procurement transformation or supplier innovation
• Management consulting with strong delivery exposure
• Strategy & transformation roles in complex organisations
• Advanced procurement roles with strong business partnering focus

Helpful (but not essential):

• Procurement or supply chain experience
• Experience in complex indirect or services environments (not operational categories)
• Experience working in global matrix organisations
• Degree educated or equivalent professional experience
