Due to continued rapid growth across the business, a new role has opened up for a Senior/Group Accountant. This role reports to the Group Financial Controller and works closely with the Group Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer as part of a highly skilled and professional Finance team. This key role will be responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting for the Group.Main Responsibilities:Oversight of monthly Group management accounts process including reviewing monthly consolidation and drafting sections of the Board reportHalf year results consolidation and interim accounts and audit pack preparationAssisting with the statutory financial statements including Plc consolidated accounts and 7 trading subsidiaries (all IFRS)Managing the Group audit process to ensure all work is completed accurately and on timeConsolidating forecasts and annual budgetLiaising with the tax advisors to ensure completion of tax returns and quarterly instalment paymentsManaging the cash position of the Group through accurate tracking, forecasting and management of bank drawdowns and depositsQuarterly and annual covenant reporting to the bankSustainability reporting including scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon modelling, TCFD and SASBAd hoc projects / analysis as requiredThe Ideal Candidate:Qualified accountant with 4+ years post qualified experienceStrong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS)Experience in a listed group / consolidation environment'Will do' attitude, ambitious team player with a strong work ethicEngaging and personable with the ability to liaise at all levels and lead from the frontBenefits:Generous holiday entitlement of 26 days per annum + bank holidaysChoice of company car/ car allowanceDiscretionary Bonus SchemeHoliday Buy Back SchemeCompany Pension SchemePrivate Medical Insurance SchemeHealthshield membershipLife Assurance SchemeShare Purchase PlanHighstreet/ Store DiscountsDevelopment OpportunitiesJBRP1_UKTJ
