to lead the Groups & Events department and drive revenue across all meetings, social events and group business.

The Role

As

Senior Groups & Events Manager , you will manage the full planning and coordination of group bookings and events, ensuring flawless execution and maximum profitability. You will lead, train and develop a team of Conference Coordinators/Executives while delivering exceptional client service and operational accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Maximise revenue across all groups, meetings and events

Lead, coach and develop the Groups & Events team, setting objectives and driving performance

Oversee planning and contracting for all group and event business, ensuring delivery to luxury standards

Support the team with sales training, site inspections, upselling and client engagement

Ensure accurate reporting of all group and event revenue within

FOCUS/MICE Switch

Create action plans to drive new social and corporate event business

Work closely with F&B on budgeting, forecasting and monthly projections

Provide commercial insights for business reviews including OTB, trends, conversion and opportunities

Prepare monthly and quarterly banqueting and meeting room forecasts

Allocate future events based on workload and complexity

Review contracts and assign planners accordingly

Provide hands-on event management support when required

Review and approve group summaries and BEOs (issued minimum 7 days prior to events)

Resolve operational issues and implement process improvements

Lead pre-con meetings to ensure strong communication between clients and hotel departments

About You

Proven background in

Groups & Events Planning within luxury hotels

Experienced people manager with strong leadership and development skills

Highly organised with excellent communication and client relationship abilities

Commercially driven with experience in forecasting, budgeting and revenue optimisation

Knowledge of

FOCUS/MICE Switch

or similar systems is desirable

Must have full right to work in the UK
