Senior Highways Engineer London 6 month rolling contract £40 - £42 per hour

Are you an experienced Senior/Principal Highway Engineer looking for a new challenge? An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Engineer with experience in highway maintenance design and delivery to join a busy client in London. This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £40 - £42 per hour, negotiable for the right candidate and dependant on level of experience. Flexible working arrangements are available.

Key Responsibilities:

Your main duty is to deliver the structures and drainage programme and assist with the delivery of the overall capital programme and flood risk management. Responsible for the selection, design, management, implementation and delivery of Capital Planned Highway Maintenance Schemes and minor engineering projects. To carry out detailed estimates, to plan and implement both Carriageway and Footway maintenance schemes from inception, through site supervision inspections, ensuring works are completed to a high standard, to specification, on time and budget to finalising accounts/sign off.
