Overview Leading professional services organisation seeks Senior Legal Counsel - Commercial Technology to join their in-house legal team. The role can be based in London or across the regions within commuting distance to London. This is a newly created position to join a supportive and dynamic team, in a strategic role to be the commercial technology lead on a range of commercial deals and support more junior members in the team of commercial lawyers. Responsibilities

Lead on commercial technology matters across a range of deals, including IT system implementation agreements, outsourcing/managed services agreements, and client contracts (engagement agreements, MSAs, framework agreements). Handle cross-functional complex tech projects, digital transformation initiatives, licensing, cloud and managed services arrangements, outsourcing, government and public sector agreements, tenders, RFP responses, and supplier agreements. Support more junior members of the commercial lawyers team and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing in-house function.

Qualifications

Over 5 years PQE and proven experience as a commercial technology lawyer, from a top-tier City law firm and/or in-house. Ideally experience working with technology and/or professional services businesses.
