Senior Commercial / Civil Litigation Solicitor – 12 Month FTC 📍 West Midlands | Hybrid (3 days office-based) | ASAP start We are working with a well-regarded organisation that is looking to appoint a Senior Commercial / Civil Litigation Solicitor on a 12-month fixed-term contract, starting as soon as possible. This is a genuinely interesting opportunity within a friendly, supportive in-house legal team, offering a highly varied and engaging workload. The role covers a broad mix of commercial disputes, civil litigation and compliance matters, with exposure to a wide range of operational and advisory issues across the business. No two days are the same, and the role offers real autonomy and responsibility. This is a particularly strong opportunity for a private practice litigator looking to make the move in-house — a transition that can often be challenging given the limited number of in‑house litigation‑focused roles. The breadth of work and level of responsibility make this an excellent platform for lawyers keen to broaden their experience in an in‑house environment. The position will suit a lawyer who is comfortable working independently, advising a wide range of internal stakeholders, and supervising paralegal members of the team. You will need a commercial, pragmatic mindset, combined with excellent technical knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and strong litigation experience. Key requirements
