Senior Marine Advisor
New Yesterday
The role
This is a key role within our Marine Sustainable Management Team, driving forward collaborative work to deliver the sustainable management of marine natural resources. The postholder will work across multiple teams within NRW, as well as with external partners and stakeholder groups, to deliver high-quality specialist advice and guidance.
The role focuses on ensuring marine and coastal issues are addressed effectively and integrated into both NRW's and others' marine and coastal plans and strategies. It also promotes opportunities to enhance marine and coastal wellbeing, supporting NRW's responsibilities under the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act (2015) and contributing to the implementation of Welsh Government's Natural Resources Policy.
As a Senior Marine Advisor, you will drive collaborative projects, champion innovative approaches, and build strong relationships across Wales to achieve positive outcomes for our seas and the communities that depend on them.
As an organisation we support flexible working. You will be contracted to the nearest NRW office to your home and a suitable hybrid working pattern will be agreed on appointment. Any regular face to face meetings or training will be planned in advance.
