Were working with an established and privately-owned Contractor who are looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their team based in Yorkshire, focusing on a variety of Building Services projects across sectors such as MOJ, Retail, Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Residential and much more.

This role will require you to work autonomously on projects valued from £3m - £7m M&E, they currently have 20 people across Design and Pre-Construction teams and this role will offer a relaxed entry into the role with support from an existing Senior Estimator, with and Estimator and Junior Estimator below you.

This company is currently turning over £32m as of 2025 and have increased their turnover this year by £13m, with next year due to be even busier!

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions Quantifying labour, materials, plant, and specialist subcontractor costs Reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations Attending site visits Interpreting specifications and drawings Identifying value engineering and cost-saving opportunities Supporting post-tender negotiations and project handovers Maintaining accurate estimating records and cost databases Youll be joining a company which thrives in a strong company culture, a growing team of industry professionals who continue to compete with Tier 1 contractors and there is opportunity for flexible remote working, in time, to ensure work/life balance.
