, enhance, and evolve our clients networks. Responsibilities Architecture & Engineering Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level network solutions.

Architect scalable, secure LAN/WAN, wireless, and cloud-integrated network environments.

Drive complex network upgrades, migrations, integrations, and transformation projects.

Technical Leadership

, Team Lead

& Escalation Act as the senior escalation point for complex routing, switching,

firewall

, and security issues.

Provide expert-level troubleshooting within agreed SLAs and KPIs.

Lead and coordinate the network engineering team, ensuring workload balance, prioritisation, and high-quality delivery.

Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and support to engineers and technical support teams.

Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering continuous learning and professional growth.

Oversee technical standards, best practices, and adherence to engineering governance.

Operational Excellence Maintain

Onsite & Field Work Conduct site surveys for new installations, planned maintenance, and new business opportunities.

Deliver onsite troubleshooting, configuration, and infrastructure improvements as

required

Coordinate team deployment for onsite works, ensuring correct skill alignment and resource coverage.

Strategic Contribution Evaluate, recommend, and introduce emerging networking technologies.

Maintain and improve documentation, topology maps, processes, and procedures.

Own network-related projects from planning through to delivery.

Oversee vendor relationships, procurement cycles, and technology selection.

Propose and implement new tools, automations, and service enhancements to

benefit

clients.

Contribute to strategic planning for team growth, capability development, and service evolution.

Experience: Several years of commercial experience as a Network Engineer within a managed services or professional services environment.

Proven background supporting and designing

Cisco based

networks.

Experience acting as senior escalation for complex network issues.

Strong

customer facing

communication and experience working both remotely and onsite.

Certifications CCNA

CCIE - Preferred

Provide

day-to-day guidance, direction, and workload prioritisation for network engineers

Act as the senior technical escalation point, supporting the team through complex issues

Mentor, coach, and develop junior and mid-level engineers, enabling skill progression and knowledge uplift

Review team output, documentation, and change work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance

Promote a positive culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Support the Head of Operations and senior leadership with insights, recommendations, and team development planning

Ensure the team adheres to operational processes, SLAs, governance, and security best practice

Coordinate engineering resource for onsite work, projects, and urgent escalations

Contribute to refining tooling, automation, and working practices that enhance team performance and client outcomes

Professional & Operational Expectations Perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively

Produce and
