Job Description
Tate is working with a very successful and expanding Consultancy in Hertfordshire with their expansion to help meet the nationwide demand on Town Planning projects, whilst furthering career progression for accomplished Town Planners.

Role Overview
The Senior Planner will work in close collaboration with team members and Directors to progress a variety of planning projects. This includes:
Developing planning strategies and submissions for minor developments.
Supporting colleagues on complex and major schemes.
Advising on planning conditions and appeals.
Promoting sites through Local Plans and monitoring progress.
Providing general planning advice and handling written representations and enforcement appeals.
Supporting business development through networking and contributing to the company’s online presence.
This position offers the potential to develop into a Principal Town Planner, providing a clear pathway for individuals with aspirations to further their career.
About you:
Essentially:
Minimum of 2 years experience in public or private sector Town Planning.
Strong computer skills, particularly in Word.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage workload under pressure.
Ability to manage budgets and maintain confidentiality.
A collaborative team player with high personal integrity.
Full, clean driving licence.
Working towards RTPI Chartered Membership.
Desirable:
Access to a car for site visits.
Experience with 5-year land supply assessments.
Proficiency in Excel.
RTPI Chartered Membership.
