The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join a main contractor based in Central London and play a key role in overseeing multiple projects across their portfolio.

As the successful candidate, you will provide expert planning and programming support to project teams, ensuring that works are delivered in line with client expectations and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and monitor detailed project programmes using industry standard planning software
• Support pre-construction teams with tender programmes and methodologies
• Oversee and coordinate planning activities across multiple live projects
• Work closely with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to ensure realistic and achievable plans
• Identify risks, delays, and opportunities, providing solutions to keep projects on track
• Produce regular progress reports, programme updates, and critical path analysis
• Contribute to project handover reviews, ensuring lessons learned are captured and applied

About You

• Proven experience as a Planner / Senior Planner within the construction industry for either new build or fit-out residential or commercial project
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and project delivery
• Proficient in planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, or equivalent)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
• Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or project management are desirable
