Senior / Principal Hydrologist Birmingham Our client are a leading integrated Environmental, Engineering and Technical Services business providing multidisciplinary solutions to a wide range of clients within the private and public sectors. The services they provide include Civil and Structural Engineering and pre and post planning support such as flood risk assessments, hydrology reporting for drainage and flood management, drainage strategy, sustainable drainage system solutions and more. The projects they work on include residential housing, commercial, retail and more.

They are now on the lookout for a Senior / Principal Hydrologist to join their growing team to be based out of their Birmingham office.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing Flood Risk Assessments and EIA's, contributing to tenders, enquiries and project submissions, overseeing / checking modelling and calculations, undertaking hydrological and hydraulic calculations, issuing project documentation, ensuring work is delivered to agreed budgets and timescales, keeping up to date with legislations and industry guidance, mentoring and guiding junior team members and contributing to ongoing technical development across the team.

The successful candidate will hold membership or be working towards membership, have experience in running own projects and teams, have experience with modelling tools such as FEH, Flood Modeller and TuFLOW.
