Senior, Principal or Senior Principal Landscape Architect

We currently have vacancies for Senior, Principal, or Senior Principal Landscape Architects in our Landscape Architecture team. The role will be based at either our Manchester or Warrington offices, with hybrid working that allows a mix of home and in-office work. In this role, you will take the lead on a wide variety of project types and scales, with a primary focus on projects within the Water sector, including flagship schemes across the UK and Ireland such as wetland design, Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), and stormwater interventions.

Responsibilities
Provide landscape planning and design input to projects.
Cultivate strong client and project team relationships.
Provide input to fee proposals and discipline task management.
Undertake field and visual survey work across the UK.
Influence and shape the team's growth and objectives.
Develop your own career and expertise within a Registered Practice of the Landscape Institute.
Qualifications and Experience
Preferably hold a Degree or equivalent in Landscape Architecture or a relevant subject.
Ideally be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).
Share a desire to work with clients and stakeholders to create exceptional places that benefit people, communities, and the environment.
Demonstrable experience of preparing Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs) and appraisals for UK planning applications with strong report‑writing skills.
Strong knowledge of environmental planning issues, current UK planning and legislation, and environmental impact assessment regulations.
Understanding of the issues and needs of a range of technical disciplines in relation to the planning and design of sustainable places and projects.
Proven ability to understand client needs, think creatively, and provide pragmatic advice to deliver sustainable solutions within time and cost constraints.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders and manage tasks effectively.
Proactive and engaged team player who enjoys supporting and developing team colleagues and working collaboratively with other teams within the wider business.
