The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Process Engineer to take a leading role within a growing design team, delivering high-quality process solutions across a range of water and wastewater treatment projects.
You will be responsible for overseeing technical delivery, guiding multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring designs meet regulatory, environmental, and client requirements. This is a key position where you will collaborate closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients to deliver efficient, future-focused solutions.
Alongside technical leadership, you will mentor junior engineers, drive innovation, and champion sustainable, cost-effective treatment approaches aligned with the evolving needs of the water sector.
Key Responsibilities
·Lead the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater treatment processes
·Oversee technical outputs across multiple projects, ensuring quality and compliance
·Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory bodies
·Review and approve process designs, calculations, and documentation
·Support project delivery through design, testing, and commissioning phases
·Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team
·Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and sustainable design solutions
·Ensure adherence to industry standards, environmental regulations, and best practice
Experience Required
·7-10 years' experience in process engineering
·Minimum 5 years within the water or wastewater sector
·Proven track record delivering complex treatment projects from design through to commissioning
·Strong understanding of water quality standards, environmental regulations, and industry codes

Qualifications
·Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar
·Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards
