Senior Procurement Manager – Property (M&E)

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 +£bonus

Location: Hertfordshire (3 days per week in the office)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join a well-established team and take ownership of key elements within the property, with a particular focus on Mechanical and Electrical (M&E).

This role will work closely with senior stakeholders across property, distribution, and retail to develop and implement strategic procurement plans that deliver long-term value and support wider business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and lead the category strategy for M&E, aligned to overall business priorities Deliver substantial cost savings through well-executed sourcing and commercial negotiations Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and innovation Manage supplier performance and contract compliance, addressing any risks or issues Report on cost-saving initiatives and category performance using agreed processes Support cross-functional collaboration with other business units to identify group-wide efficiencies Lead supplier reviews and ensure the highest standards of service and sustainability Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, including international colleagues (three total)

Ideal Experience

Proven experience in procurement, ideally with exposure to M&E Commercially focused, with excellent negotiation and contract management skills Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic change Experience managing large-scale procurement projects across multiple workstreams
