Role Overview

As a Senior Product Designer, you will be responsible for UX design of Standard Chartered’s electronic trading platform, focusing on creating user flows that meet the goals of the Financial Markets business. Experience in designing products in FX cash, FX Algo, FX options, commodities, FMRP, rates, and credit is required.

Responsibilities

1. Define and drive the vision for a standout user experience across Financial Market products, collaborating with design, business, and technology teams.
2. Create prototypes using our design system to express user journeys and align with stakeholders.
3. Partner with product and business owners to understand needs and refine problem statements.
4. Engage with research and analytics teams to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
5. Promote user experience and design system thinking within the organization.
6. Contribute to the development of SC’s design system.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in creating rich interactive experiences in the corporate and financial markets.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with remote teams.
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields or equivalent practical experience.
• Strategic and detail-oriented mindset, with understanding of psychology and behavioral science.
• Awareness of global diversity and inclusive design practices.
• Entrepreneurial attitude with a passion for human behavior and team collaboration.
• Ability to guide stakeholders and promote user-centric design.
• Proactive, flexible, and process-oriented approach.
• Ownership mindset with focus on continuous improvement.
