About Carbonfuture
Carbonfuture is the trust infrastructure for durable carbon removal. We provide the tools and services that help suppliers bring projects to market and enable buyers to invest in carbon removal with confidence. Our infrastructure ensures the integrity of carbon removal and enables it to scale.
Role and Responsibilities
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager with a strong B2B background to drive the development of our two-sided platform, from initial concept to product delivery and iteration. You'll take ownership of critical product areas, collaborating with engineering, design, and stakeholders to shape the roadmap and deliver scalable solutions that power the future of carbon removal.
You’ll thrive in this role if you're a strategic systems thinker who can operate in complexity, balance the needs of multiple users, and is comfortable leading product work across both technical and business domains. This role comes with significant autonomy and strategic influence.
You will work directly with our Head of Product, engineering, design, and our Carbon Markets team and help define how carbon removal is transacted, structured, and experienced by buyers in a market that is still being built.
Key Responsibilities
You will take ownership of the buyer and trading side of our two-sided platform, shaping the strategy, user experience, and transaction logic that enables carbon removal to function as a scalable asset class.
Own product development end-to-end, from discovery to delivery and iteration
Define and execute product strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals
Drive features from 0 to 1 – from user insights to validated launches
Identify real user problems through direct customer interaction and market research
Shape front-end use cases and transaction flows for carbon credit buyers
Prioritize backlogs, manage trade-offs, and ensure seamless delivery
Collaborate with engineering, design, science, and operations teams
Align stakeholders across both key user groups (e.g., carbon suppliers and buyers), with a focus on the buyer side of the platform
Champion user experience, platform trust, and business scalability
Define KPIs and measurable outcomes that support both trust and scalability
Raise the product bar by mentoring others through example and product craft
What We're Looking For
Experience
5–8+ years in B2B product management
Proven experience in building and shipping 0–1 products
Background working with complex technical systems
Experience in platform, marketplace, trading, or financial environments strongly preferred
Exposure to regulated markets or financial products is a plus
Experience working directly with enterprise users and understanding B2B sales cycles
Skills
Strategic systems thinker with strong product judgment
Proven ability to operate in ambiguity, create structure, and make independent trade-offs
Strong analytical skills; data-driven and KPI-focused
Platform thinking: balancing multi-sided user needs, standardization vs. customization
Ability to navigate regulatory, business, and technical constraints
Excellent communicator across executives, engineers, and customers
Experience aligning cross-functional teams in complex environments
Interest or experience in AI
