Production Planner , youll be at the heart of their operations, ensuring their customers get what they need, when they need it. Youll play a key role in shaping how orders flow through our business, driving efficiency, and keeping their promises to clients. Take full responsibility for scheduling and planning products through manufacturing cells. Keep customers happy:
Work with Sales to set and agree delivery dates, ensuring commitments are met. Spot the blockers:
Identify critical issues early, resolve problems, and keep orders moving. Collaborate widely:
Act as the bridge between Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams. Use data smartly:
Maximise our ERP/order management systems to give full visibility on progress. Balance demand and capacity:
Analyse load vs. capacity to avoid delays. Support the team:
Step in to help colleagues in Production and Purchasing when needed. Drive improvement:
Share ideas, publish metrics, and continuously look for ways to make planning more efficient. What Youll Bring Strong ERP planning experience (essential). Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. A proactive, decisive approach to problem-solving. The ability to stay calm and deliver under pressure. Enthusiasm and drive to get things done. It Would Be Great If You Also Have 5+ years production planning experience. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (or similar). A background in manufacturing/assembly environments. Solid analytical, Excel, and systems knowledge. Engineering or manufacturing qualifications (ONC/HNC or similar).
