We are now looking for a Senior Project Manager to join us on a key client engagement leading a critical IT Service Management (ITSM) transformation programme. This role will be paid via PAYE and receive all holiday, benefits, etc as a full time salaried employee


About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of complex IT and service transformation initiatives across enterprise environments.


This role will operate across a portfolio of change programmes, driving structured delivery, strengthening governance, and embedding sustainable operational improvements. You will work confidently across senior stakeholders, technical teams and PMO functions to ensure delivery is controlled, outcome-driven and commercially sound.


What You’ll Be Doing:


Programme & Delivery Leadership

  • Lead complex IT and service transformation initiatives
  • Manage scope, milestones, risks, dependencies and financial controls
  • Establish and maintain structured governance aligned to client expectations
  • Drive delivery against defined outcomes and measurable benefits
  • Ensure consistent reporting cadence and assurance standards across engagements
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend enhancements to delivery approaches, governance and operational effectiveness


Service & Operational Improvement

  • Support delivery of service management and operational maturity initiatives
  • Oversee implementation or optimisation of enterprise platforms where required
  • Align process design with recognised best practice frameworks
  • Partner with technical teams, architects, and service leads to embed sustainable improvements
  • Support testing, deployment, and structured transition into operational teams


Stakeholder & Executive Engagement

  • Build trusted relationships across technical and business stakeholders
  • Engage confidently with senior leadership and steering groups
  • Translate technical delivery into clear business value
  • Provide concise, structured reporting to programme and portfolio boards
  • Navigate complex stakeholder environments with professionalism and clarity


Governance & Commercial Control

  • Maintain RAID management, change control and structured reporting
  • Protect scope integrity and manage change in line with commercial agreements
  • Partner with PMO and assurance functions where required
  • Ensure adherence to agreed delivery methodologies and governance frameworks
  • Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks


What We’re Looking For


Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex IT transformation initiatives
  • Ideally you would have worked for a Consultancy on multiple projects
  • Strong technical project delivery background
  • Experience working with enterprise service or operational platforms
  • Understanding of recognised service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL)
  • Experience within consultancy or client-facing environments preferred
  • Comfortable operating across multiple stakeholders and evolving landscapes
