About Us
We are working with an ambitious and rapidly growing London Market insurance broker with a strong track record of innovation and transformation across the MGA and delegated authority space who are are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical projects aligned with our operating model, platform optimisation, and MGA distribution strategy.
The Role
Within this role you will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic change initiatives across the broking, MGA, and digital operations space. You will be responsible for managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects—ensuring alignment with our target operating model (TOM) while embedding scalable processes across the business.
You will work closely with C-level leadership, underwriting, operations, technology and finance teams, with a strong emphasis on Acturis platform optimisation, MGA operating structures, and digital enablement.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive delivery of key change initiatives across broking and MGA operations Lead project planning, tracking, and execution from initiation to post-implementation review Manage cross-functional stakeholders and align projects to the firm’s target operating model Optimise and configure the Acturis platform in partnership with internal and vendor stakeholders Assess current MGA frameworks and recommend scalable improvements Provide structure and governance across all project workstreams Monitor and mitigate risks, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met Prepare regular progress updates for executive stakeholders
Required Experience
Proven track record as a Senior Project Manager in the London Market insurance sector Strong understanding of Managing General Agents (MGAs) Hands-on experience delivering projects involving Acturis (configuration, integration, or optimisation) Demonstrable experience working with or implementing Target Operating Models (TOMs) Experience working in broking, underwriting, or coverholder/MGA environments Comfortable engaging with C-suite, technical teams, and third-party vendors Ability to work autonomously, driving change in dynamic, fast-paced environments
Nice to Have
Agile and/or Prince2 certification Knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to MGAs and London Market brokers
Contract Details
Outside IR35 Hybrid model: 1–3 days/week in London office (flexible depending on project phase) Initial 6-month term, with high likelihood of extension based on project delivery
