Senior Project Manager Opportunity - Central London Mivan is a dynamic and progressive specialist joinery and interior fit‑out contractor with a reputation for excellence and innovation. We are currently looking for an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to establish, coordinate and manage a landmark fit‑out project. Candidates should have extensive experience on new build and fit‑out type projects and a third level qualification in a related subject or experience in a similar Project Management role. The ideal candidate will be commercially astute with strong leadership and people management skills and the ability to negotiate and influence. Main duties will include:
Develop comprehensive project plans and ensure all necessary resources are in place to meet deadlines. Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring delivery within financial targets. Ensure all work meets client specifications and quality standards, including implementation of the Control Quality Plan and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations. Effectively manage all project resources including staff, labour, plant, materials, subcontractors, and internal departments (e.g., design and factory teams). Set clear targets and reporting procedures, and measure team and stakeholder performance against these standards. Act as the primary liaison with clients and their representatives, providing regular updates and resolving issues promptly. Proactively develop and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals. Ensure contractual conditions are adhered to and maintain accurate, contemporary records to protect the company's position. Implement and uphold company Operations and Safety Management Procedures on all projects. Demonstrate a high standard of safety at all times throughout the project. Undertake any other responsibilities within your knowledge, experience, or competency as requested by senior management.
