The client Our client is a well-established, privately owned Building Services contractor with a strong presence across the UK. Operating for several decades, they have built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical projects across commercial, healthcare, education, industrial and specialist sectors. The role Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Planner to strengthen their project delivery team. This role will play a critical part in the successful planning, sequencing and delivery of complex MEP projects. You will be responsible for developing detailed project programmes from scratch, balancing workload across multiple workstreams and monitoring each stage of the project through to completion. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, Commercial and Design, you will manage installation sequencing, track day-to-day site activity and carry out detailed progress and performance analysis. This is a hands-on planning role with real influence over how projects are delivered. The requirements You will ideally have: Proven experience as a Planner / Senior Planner within building services, MEP or construction

Strong ability to develop detailed project programmes from first principles

Experience managing and monitoring installation sequencing on live projects

A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical construction methodology

The ability to balance workload across multiple projects and workstreams

Experience producing look-ahead programmes, progress updates and tracking analysis

Confidence liaising with Project Managers, Site Managers and senior stakeholders

Experience using planning software such as

Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6

will be highly beneficial. A background in building services, MEP or technically complex construction environments is strongly preferred. The package The salary is competitive and will reflect experience and capability. As a guide, you can expect to earn

between £65,000

£75,000 , with flexibility for the right individual.
