Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Property Manager (Block) to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties, overseeing a team of property managers, and ensuring the efficient and effective management of all aspects of the properties. Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of properties, including residential and commercial buildings, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with all regulations and standards Oversee a team of property managers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed Develop and maintain relationships with clients, tenants, and other stakeholders Conduct regular property inspections and address any maintenance or repair issues in a timely manner Ensure all financial aspects of the properties are managed effectively, including budgeting, rent collection, and invoicing Monitor and manage lease agreements, ensuring all tenants are in compliance with their obligations Handle any tenant complaints or disputes, and take appropriate action to resolve them Keep up-to-date with industry developments and legislation, and implement any necessary changes to ensure compliance Prepare and present reports to senior management on the performance of the portfolio and any issues or concerns that may arise Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall management of the properties Perform any other duties as assigned by senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in property management, real estate, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with at least 2 years in a senior/leadership role Strong knowledge of property management principles, practices, and regulations Excellent leadership and team management skills Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal Strong financial management and budgeting skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
