An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Property Manager to join a dynamic, privately-owned business with a diverse property portfolio across the UK.
This is a broad and hands-on role, combining both property management and asset management responsibilities, with a particular focus on commercial multi-let industrial assets. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing operational performance, managing costs, and supporting the ongoing evolution of the portfolio.
This position would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is comfortable taking ownership in a role that offers both autonomy and variety.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day management of a mixed commercial property portfolio, including multi-let industrial units.
Take ownership of tenant management, contractor relationships, and maintenance coordination
Manage and monitor business rates and utilities, identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies
Ensure full compliance with relevant property legislation and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate records, budgets, and reporting across the estate. The company has recently introduced Released property management software.
Provide asset management support, including oversight of income, occupancy, and operational performance
Assist with acquisitions and disposals, including due diligence and integration of new assets
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes and portfolio strategy
About You
Proven experience within property / estates management, ideally across commercial assets
A well-rounded background across both property and asset management (or the ability to operate across both)
Strong understanding of property compliance, legislation, and operational management
Experience managing multi-let assets is highly advantageous
Commercially aware, with the ability to manage and optimise costs such as utilities and business rates
A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and use initiative
Comfortable working in a broad, evolving role within a non-corporate environment
Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to liaise across internal and external stakeholders
Good IT proficiency, including Excel and property management systems
