The Position We are looking for a Senior Public Health/Hydraulic Engineer responsible for technical delivery of projects throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will be able to work independently as well as part of multi-discipline project teams.

Design and document hydraulic systems through concept, design development and detailed documentation phases Review technical submissions by Contractors and Sub-Contractors and the quality of construction against the specified requirements Undertake Construction Administration on projects, designed by NDY. Ensure NDY’s IMS System is implemented and maintained on projects, which may require quality assurance reviews for peer projects Proactively identify, develop and promote ways to improve operating capability Manage your involvement in projects so that work is completed efficiently whilst meeting client needs Engage with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring that expectations are known, managed, and fulfilled, within program and project constraints. Liaise with Contractors and Sub-Contractors to address construction-related documentation issues Attend site meetings as appropriate and report on the status of the work and any items of concern

Who we’re looking for

Seasoned engineering professional with a proven track record spanning the entire project lifecycle, overseeing project delivery with 5 – 7 years of experience in Hydraulic services. Experience in the following hydraulic fields is essential: Water supply design, Sanitary Plumbing & Drainage design, Stormwater drainage design, Hot Water design, Natural gas design, Rainwater recycling design, Trade waste drainage design and liaison with local Water Authorities. Established expertise in the Hydraulic services industry with sound knowledge of local standards. Deep understanding of local building project practices and location requirements.
