We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to enhance our team and drive success across our high value projects.\nWhy join us?\n * Exciting Projects – Work on varied sector projects and leave a lasting legacy\n * Career Growth – Clear progression pathways and continuous professional development\n * Collaborative Culture – Be part of a team that values innovation, integrity, and a commitment to excellence\n * Competitive Package – Enjoy a competitive salary and great benefits with volunteering days, and flexible and hybrid working options\nWhat you will be doing\n * Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for budgets.\n * Ensure sub-contractors are pre-qualified in accordance with management systems.\n * Procurement of Sub-Contractors and preparation of Sub-Contractor order documentation.\n * Assessing and certification of sub-contractor interim payments and ensuring required Payer / Pay-less notices as issued.\n * Advising on a range of legal and contractual issues and identification and management of commercial risks.\n * Production and presentation of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation on projects.\n * Establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships.\n * Plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by teams, individuals and self.\n * Assist in managing the Commercial team and supervise and mentor Quantity Surveyors.\n * Ensure effective interaction between the commercial and operational site teams.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n * Degree Qualified Candidate\n * 3-5 years Construction Experience\n * Good knowledge of construction contracts particularly the JCT & NEC Forms of Contract\n * Sound Commercial Awareness\n * Excellent communication & negotiation skills\n * High levels of organisational skills\n * Ability to meet deadlines\n * Excellent numerical, IT and problem-solving skills\n * Ability to work on initiative with minimum supervision\n * Ability to travel frequently to Site, as and when required\nHow to Apply:\nIf you’re ready to take the next step in your career with a company that values your expertise and innovation, we’d love to hear from you!
