Senior Quantity Surveyor - Market leading fit out contractor
Location: Central London
Salary: £85,000 – £100,000 per annum + Healthcare + Pension + Bonus
Contract Type: Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Quantity Surveyor to assume responsibility for the commercial delivery of high-value fit out projects for a leading contractor. The successful candidate will oversee complex schemes across education, office, and life sciences sectors, with individual project values reaching up to £100 million.
This position offers significant autonomy and accountability, as well as the opportunity to contribute to one of London’s most prestigious fit out programmes. You will join a high-performing team within a highly successful division who are committed to excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide full commercial management of projects from inception through to completion
Administer and execute amended lump sum contracts in accordance with company standards
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with refurbishment and fit out works
Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and valuation processes
Ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain transparency with senior stakeholders
Implement cost control measures and drive value engineering initiatives
Candidate Profile
Demonstrable experience as Lead Quantity Surveyor on multiple fit out projects from start to finish
Comprehensive knowledge of fit out operations and subcontractor management
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to risk management
Consistent employment history, ideally with long-term engagements (5–6 years)
Ambitious and motivated to progress within a high-profile, complex project environment
