Where will you be working? We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. Were problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within ourwater and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment. Want to be a part of it? What will you be doing? Preparing Applications for Payment to the client Proactively identify, assess, and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle. Manage a small team of Assistant Quantity Surveyors/Quantity Surveyors ensuring development of these members Produce accurate CVRs and provide detail financial reports and forecasts Manage and administer the contract including Early Warnings Notifcations, Variations including agreement with the client. Cost Control and Subcontractor Management What you'll bring Experience within the Water/Utilities industry and a experience on a framework based contract is desirable Ability to use a Works Management System to create commercial reports (AfPs/Forecast) Previous experience in leading a small team is desirable Strong commercial acumen and excellent negotation and communication skills A pro-active, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and part of a team Full Driving Licence Whats in it for you?
