Vertical Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy as they look to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding Commercial & Project Advisory team in Warrington.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-value, technically complex engineering projects across the nuclear and regulated infrastructure sectors. You'll play a key role in supporting long-standing, high-profile clients while enjoying excellent career progression, hybrid working, and structured support toward chartership.
What You’ll Be Doing:
•Lead the commercial management of major infrastructure and engineering projects within the nuclear sector
•Deliver full lifecycle quantity surveying services, from early-stage cost planning and procurement through to contract administration and final accounts
•Manage subcontractor packages, assess valuations and variations, and process payments
•Provide expert guidance on NEC3 and NEC4 contracts, ensuring commercial compliance and strategy alignment
•Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to maintain cost control and maximise value
•Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and risk assessments
•Mentor junior surveyors and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture
•Represent the business in client-facing meetings and project reviews
