BCS Connect are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of our client, a specialist groundworks contractor.\n\nThe Role:\n\nBased in Sheffield, yorkshire, this is an office-based role with occasional site visits. You will support the Commercial Manager and work closely with the Construction Manager across a variety of domestic residential projects. Responsibilities include:\n\n * \n\n Managing costs and valuations for groundworks packages, including roads, sewers, foundations, substructure works, and externals.\n\n * \n\n Preparing and maintaining spreadsheets/tick sheets based on BOQs provided by estimators.\n\n * \n\n Quoting for and managing additional client-requested works.\n\n * \n\n Ensuring all commercial processes are carried out accurately and efficiently.\n\nThe Candidate:\n\nOur client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running, with:\n\n * \n\n Groundworks surveying experience (subcontractor background preferred).\n\n * \n\n Strong track record in domestic residential projects.\n\n * \n\n IT proficiency, especially with spreadsheets.\n\n * \n\n A hardworking, systematic approach, able to work both independently and as part of a team.\n\nThe Package:\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary £60,000 – £90,000 (depending on experience).\n\n * \n\n Company car or car allowance.\n\n * \n\n Health insurance after a successful trial period.\n\n * \n\n Excellent career prospects within a growing business.\n\nIf you are an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to join a well-established groundworks specialist, we would love to hear from you
