Are you’re an experienced Quantity Surveyor, interested in joining a high-profile highways project in Somerset?

The Company

You will be joining a leading Tier 1 Contractor in the UK, that are currently offering an excellent opportunity for a SQS to join them for an assignment on a Multi-Million-Pound Highways Project in Somerset. The company is one of the leading Infrastructure contractors working in the market today and have an excellent track record of delivering world class Civil Engineering projects.

The Role
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor will support early-stage and enabling works, working closely with site and operational teams to manage commercial delivery, cost control and change management under NEC forms of contract.

This role requires a practical, hands-on QS with strong NEC experience and a background working for Tier 1 contractors on highways or major civils schemes.

About You

Experienced QS, with experience of the commercial management of subcontractor packages. ConductContract administration under NEC (Option C / B) Change management and compensation events

Experience of providing cost forecasting and client-facing reporting, supporting early-stage works and transition into construction, and ability to build strong relationships to enable a close collaboration with site and engineering teams
