Senior / Quantity Surveyor

A market leading building and refurbishment contractor that specialises in high-end residential projects in Surrey, Hampshire and the South East is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a company that has an impressive pipeline of work and is offering a stable, long-term opportunity with excellent support and progression.

The company

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will join a company that specialise in High-end / prime refurbishments and new builds have recently experienced an influx of new projects. They have a turnover of around £20 million they are long-standing and have a reputation for delivering exceptional standard of work.

Senior Quantity surveyor Role

Their Current Projects range from £2 million to £10million. The projects are some of the South East has to offer.

You will be responsible for -

  • Procurement
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Tender and contract documents
  • Final accounts
  • Contracts
  • Valuations
  • Variations
  • Attend professional and client meetings
  • Assign subcontractors and suppliers aligned with procurement schedule
  • Mitigate commercial risks

The Senior Quantity Surveyor - Requirements

  • 5 years + Experience
  • Non-negotiable - High End Residential projects
  • Experience of working for a main contractor
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
