Due to continued growth in our clients NW region, we are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to help support the team. The commercial department is renowned for its in house development and with the growing work bank in the region, coupled with diversification into new sectors there has never been a better time to join the business. The role will be based either in the Cheshire office or Lancashire office.

The initial part will be ECI involvement working with the client on commercial planning and setting up sub-contractor accounts etc. There will be no management responsibility initially but as the project moves into construction phase there will likely be an AQS/QS and Grad within the team, which the candidate will play key role in mentoring and much of the work will be subcontracted out to specialist suppliers so Subcontractor commercial Management will be a key part of this role.

Day to day duties will include: • Ensure the timely submission of all payment applications, capturing all contractual entitlements. • Monitor and secure payments in line with contractual payment terms. • Submit tender and estimate details to the client promptly and accurately. • Compile and negotiate final accounts without delay, ensuring all entitlements are clearly presented. • Provide weekly updates on cost vs. value...
