Senior Quantity Surveyor – NEC PSC (Cost Reimbursable)The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) to act as Commercial Lead across multiple Task Orders delivered under the NEC Professional Services Contract (PSC), Option G – Cost Reimbursable.You will be responsible for the full commercial lifecycle of Task Orders – from contract formation and cost control through to final account and close-out – ensuring robust governance, compliance, and value for money.This is a client-facing role within a highly regulated environment, ideal for a commercially astute professional with strong NEC experience and a proactive approach to change and cost management.Brief Key Responsibilities Establish and manage Task Orders in compliance with NEC PSC Option GPrepare commercial documentation, challenge cost estimates and resource plansCapture, validate, and report Defined Cost in line with contract requirementsMaintain cost journals, substantiation packs, and auditable recordsProactively manage Early Warnings and Compensation EventsPrepare CE notifications, quotations, assessments, and supporting evidenceMaintain CEMAR registers and provide regular change performance reportingPrepare cost forecasts, out-turn projections, and variance analysisProduce client-facing and internal commercial dashboards and reportsSupport internal and external audits with full cost and commercial evidenceLead preparation and agreement of final accountsCompile final substantiation and lessons-learned documentationAttend project meetings alongside the Commercial LeadCoach and mentor Assistant Quantity Surveyors Essential Requirements Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related disciplineStrong experience administering NEC3/NEC4 contracts, including Defined CostPractical experience of CEMARSenior QS level with minimum 5 years' post-qualification experienceClient-facing experienceWorking towards or holding MRICS (or equivalent)BPSS clearance (SC or SC pending required) Desirable Experience in nuclear and/or defence environmentsProven experience on cost-reimbursable professional services contractsJBRP1_UKTJ
