The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who can take full ownership of the commercial process across multiple high-end residential projects. This is a hands-on role with no junior support, so you must be comfortable managing everything from procurement to final accounts independently.

You will play a vital role across both our own developments and client-based contracting projects, ensuring cost control, contractual compliance, and commercial efficiency at all stages.

Key Responsibilities

\t•\tFull QS responsibility across multiple luxury residential sites (typically 5,000–20,000+ sqft)

\t•\tPrepare and manage cost plans, procurement schedules, and subcontract packages

\t•\tIssue accurate payment certificates, manage valuations, variations, and final accounts

\t•\tWork closely with our Contracts Manager, Site Managers, and Buyer to ensure smooth project delivery

\t•\tNegotiate subcontractor terms and drive value across all procurement

\t•\tAdminister JCT contracts from pre-construction through to completion

\t•\tProduce detailed monthly CVRs and commercial reports for the leadership team

\t•\tSupport value engineering and, where possible, input into structural design and methodology

What We’re Looking For

\t•\t10+ years’ experience in quantity surveying, preferably in high-end residential construction

\t•\tDegree-qualified in Quantity Surveying; RICS Chartered (or working toward)

\t•\tStructural or engineering qualifications are a strong advantage

\t•\tCapable of running multiple projects without junior support

\t•\tStrong working knowledge of JCT contracts and project cashflow

\t•\tDetail-focused, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-standard environment

\t•\tBased within commutable distance to Beaconsfield and willing to travel to sites across the Home Counties
