We’re representing one of the UK’s most respected Tier 1 contractors in their search for a Quantity Surveyor and Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a flagship luxury residential scheme in Central London.
With a excellent reputation for delivering high-value, design-led developments, this business offers both commercial stability and the chance to be part of a truly iconic project, a multi-phase, high-rise scheme that will transform part of the central London skyline.
The Opportunity:
You’ll be joining the team early in the construction phase, taking ownership of key packages and working closely with a Senior Commercial Manager on strategic procurement, cost control, and subcontractor management. This is a long-term, career-defining project with multiple phases and a pipeline of future London work secured.
Whether you're an experienced Project QS looking to step up, or an established Senior QS seeking a prestigious build and fast-track progression, this is a commercial team that will back your development.
Role Responsibilities:
Full pre- and post-contract cost management on major trade packages (RC frame, façade, MEP, finishes etc.) Leading procurement, subcontractor tendering, and contract negotiation Preparing and managing CVRs, forecasting and monthly valuations Driving value engineering, cost planning, and cashflow management Managing subcontractor payments, change control, and final accounts Supporting commercial reporting to the client and internal leadership Working closely with planning, design, and site teams to ensure commercial alignment across the build
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working as a QS/SQS on large-scale residential or mixed-use builds, ideally in London Proven track record with a main contractor or tier 1 developer Strong commercial acumen with a proactive approach to risk and cost control Knowledge of JCT D&B contracts, procurement strategy, and subcontractor negotiation Confident communicator, commercially assertive, and team-oriented
Salary & Package:
QS: £55,000 – £70,000 Senior QS: £70,000 – £85,000 Excellent benefits package including travel, pension, and bonus
