About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be leading a £50m consisting of 186 units which is a combination of houses and low rise flats. They are the Main Contractor on the project and you will be reporting into a Commercial Manager. The majority of projects are traditional build. You will be based on site in Hertfordshire which has 2 and a half years remaining.
The company are an award winning developer/contractor who have been in the construction industry for over 25 years with a turnover of over £1bn. They are very busy at the moment with multiple upcoming projects in this region.
Key Responsibilities of Senior Quantity Surveyor
Include but not limited to:
Running a team of 2-3 people
Managing the upstream process
Provide assistance and support on all commercial issues
Carry out cash flow reporting
Final accounting
Manage forecasts and ensure all variations are issued on time
Key Requirements of Senior Quantity Surveyor
Must have experience leading new build projects valued over £25m from procurement to final accounts
Must have experience managing a team of 2-3 people
Live within commutable distance to Borehamwood
Degree in a construction related subject is ideal
