ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a motivated Senior Cost Consultant/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our London-based team. This full-time, hybrid role involves leading the delivery of cost consultancy services on residential developments across the UK. You will work closely with clients and project teams across all stages of the project lifecycle, taking ownership of cost management delivery from pre-contract through to completion. Typical project values range from 20m-£150m.


We value individuals who are forward-thinking and open to the evolving role of digital technology and AI in the construction industry, and who are keen to contribute to the ongoing development of our cost management capability.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Leadership of the day-to-day cost management services across assigned projects
  • Strong technical capability across core cost management services including cost planning, procurement, and post-contract delivery.
  • MRICS preferred or another qualification in a relevant business discipline.
  • An adaptable and proactive individual, comfortable working both collaboratively within a team and autonomously
  • Sound commercial knowledge with a good understanding of residential cost drivers, value engineering, risk management
  • Experience supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with colleagues and clients.
  • High attention to detail, with a clear understanding of accuracy, and the importance of quality assurance.
  • High standards of literacy and numeracy.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage workloads across multiple projects
  • Demonstrable passion for and understanding of the Real Estate and Construction Industry
  • An interest in digital and data-led approaches to cost management, with a willingness to engage with evolving digital tools used across the business
