The Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take a leading commercial role across highways and infrastructure schemes in Scotland.
Key responsibilities include:
Full commercial management of multiple projects
NEC contract administration and change management
Preparing and negotiating interim applications and final accounts
Cost forecasting and reporting
Managing subcontract procurement and performance
Identifying and mitigating commercial risk
Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff
This role requires someone confident operating independently while collaborating closely with operational and senior leadership teams.
About You
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure
Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
Experience managing projects commercially from inception to completion
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously
