Job Title: Senior Safety Health & Environment Advisor Location: Portsmouth Naval Base/Broad Oak – Onsite only – additional travel may be required to visit wider parts of the business Salary: Up to £50,000 (dependent on skills and experience) What you’ll be doing: Drive improvements in SHE performance across sites and delivery streams by leading proactive risk-reduction initiatives , coordinating key stakeholders, and ensuring robust implementation of policies, management systems, targets and controls . Champion innovative approaches to safety, leading and supporting transformational change programmes that embed continuous improvement, strengthen risk management and accelerate learning across teams. Influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, coaching and challenging them to integrate SHE considerations into decision -making, project planning, contractor oversight and operational delivery. Provide clear, evidence-based assurance on compliance with legal requirements, the Operational Framework and the SHE Management System, identifying priorities and enabling leaders to take decisive action.
