Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Car/Allowance + Package

The Senior Engineer role
I'm working with a contractor who are looking for a Senior Engineer to be part of their team in a slightly different role. They would be working across several large projects in the Midlands and wider region managing various small works. Its a great role for someone who likes working in a busy environment but still likes to get stuck in and do properly rewarding work. You'll be working with an experienced team and work across the entire portfolio of this clients projects in the Midlands region.
The profile of work for the Senior Engineer
The works could vary from private developments, local authorities, National Highways and other civils projects. Dealing with defects and general aftercare during the maintenance period (generally 12 months after completion). Ensuring all defects are closed out at the end of the maintenance period to achieve final handover. Working within TM. General civils experience.
The Senior Engineer will be responsible for
Setting out of works, surveying and processing of data, production of surveys (AutoCAD/pdf). Permit production (various kinds) Coordination and review of RAMS and paperwork in advance of the works. Coordination with clients and tenants of upcoming and current works Supervision of sub-contractors for works to be completed Potential close out of paperwork/update of H&S files.
The right Senior Engineer will be
Someone who will be open to different tasks day-to-day. Surveys, processing, inspections, permits, taking records, coordinating subbies etc. Driving License and ability to drive Experience working on various civil engineering projects Relevent site experience
