Technology & Engineering Division Senior Advisor

Were hiring a Senior Software Engineer (contract) to join a team working on next-gen immersive platform experiences think runtime engine, asset pipelines, and performance tooling for large-scale 3D environments.

You'll be part of a crew who work behind the scenes: the folks who make sure real-time 3D worlds run smoothly, load correctly, and dont fall over. This is not a game dev or content creation role its core engineering.

The Offer:

• Annual Salary up to 140,000 doe and location
• 6-month contract - inside IR35 - PAYE - paid on a weekly basis
• 3 Days onsite - Hybrid work model - offices based in Central London

What you'll do:

• Tackle system reliability issues across a complex Unity/C#/C++ stack
• Build tools and diagnostics to improve performance and stability
• Work on the runtime engine powering multiplayer, spatial transitions, and real-time rendering
• Collaborate with global engineering teams and ship code at scale

What we're looking for:

• 10+ years engineering experience system/product generalist mindset
• Deep hands-on experience with Unity (C#) in non-game contexts
• Solid C++ and Windows dev experience
• Proven work on runtime engines, performance tooling, or infrastructure for 3D apps
• Strong debugging, profiling, and CI/CD knowledge
• Bonus: Familiar with VR/AR platforms, build systems (Buck, Bazel), and large-scale codebases
