The Opportunity

About the Role

They are looking for experienced, product-focused engineers to help design, build and scale core parts of their AI platform.

You will work across the full product lifecycle, from early discovery and technical design through to implementation, deployment and customer adoption. The role offers real autonomy and influence, with close collaboration alongside founders, product and commercial teams.

Engineers from a range of backgrounds are welcome (C#, Java, TypeScript), although Python is the primary language in use. You will be working with modern AI tooling including Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Claude Code and contributing to decisions that shape both product and platform direction.

The work includes building extraction pipelines, workflow automation, multi-step agent systems and high-quality APIs that integrate deeply into enterprise environments.

This is a role for someone who enjoys thinking beyond tickets and wants to combine strong engineering with product impact.

Skills and Experience

• Strong backend engineering background with experience shipping customer-facing products

• Solid foundations in modern software engineering and system design

• Experience working in fast-moving, product-led or high-growth environments

• Strong API design and architectural thinking

• Exposure to AI development tools such as Cursor, Copilot or Claude

• Proven ability to own features end to end, from concept to production

• Comfortable collaborating with product, commercial and customer teams

• Curious mindset with strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related field preferred

London (1/2 day per week in the office)
